This is our story...

First, let me start off by saying GOD IS FAITHFUL! (ya'll know I'm a #godsgirl, so you know I have to give praise & show gratitude first)

As I am witnessing RHC scale to new levels, it was in my heart to finally share our story...the birth of RESTORE HAIR CARE and our humble beginnings in hopes to INSPIRE or MOTIVATE anyone who has a product, service, idea, vision or dream to start their own business. It doesn't matter what anybody else is doing, how they are doing it or how saturated your market/industry is...PRAY, TRUST, BELIEVE & DO IT! JUST START!!!

I would've never, in my wildest dreams believed that I would be operating my own hair care line. I often think about how many times I've been asked, "have you ever thought about making your own hair products"? And the answer would always be, "NO, NO MA'AM! I absolutely DO NOT have time to figure out how to make or sell hair products. (God's plan was different than mine)

Then about 4 years ago, I got addicted to wearing braids (for 2 years straight). I absolutely loved my braids...they were so easy to maintain & convenient for my lifestyle. But then, you already know...my EDGES started to get thinner & thinner. So you know ya girl, the HEALTHY HAIR CARE ADVOCATE, was not having it. PERIODT!!! I finally departed from the braids, cut all my hair off and started my own hair care regimen to grow my edges back. My edges was growing but they were not as thick as before. I then started to play around with liquid vitamins, herbal ingredients and organic products & formulated a SERUM...truly a blessing from GOD! I tried the serum on my hair first for months, seen AMAZING results and my edges grew back thicker. Then I started to use it on my clients hair, we also saw AMAZING results with increased hair growth, decreased hair damage and improved scalp health. The serum was Salon Seven's secret to restoring hair health. My clients begged me to start selling this serum to them. And the answer was "NO, I'll just use it at the salon".

Then 2020 came out of nowhere and shut us all down...COVID-19 "THE PANDEMIC"! Salon Seven was mandated to close for business so I couldn't provide hair care services to my clients for almost 3 months. My clients immediately started to contact me about how to maintain their hair at home. I recommended and sold them professional hair care products that I was currently using in the salon and provided them with hair care tutorials via zoom...lol. But that wasn't enough, not for my "S7" Divas. One of my regular & faithful client, June Zachery called and asked for the "SALON SERUM" (that was the name of the secret serum at the time). I told her that I would bottle some just for her and ship it. She said "Ta'Nita, you really need to sell this serum, it's crack in a bottle (lol) and it will help alot of people with their hair problems".

As I was preparing her serum to ship, God revealed the word "RESTORE". I heard the word loud & clear. And yes, I was trying to ignore the sign considering I only wanted to make 1 bottle of serum to ship to 1 of my clients. Days to come, I begin to hear & see the word "RESTORE" everywhere we went...literally EVERYWHERE! So I started fasting & praying over the word "RESTORE". At the same time I was making more bottles of serum from referrals and shipping them out to my clients and family without a name.

Now, I have this hand-made product that I formulated years ago, my hair salon has been mandated to close for business, my clients are complaining about their hair, we were all stuck in the house so I had nothing but time to figure things out.

In the midst of a global pandemic, I took full advantage of the lockdown and decided to return back to school. I enrolled at US Trichology Institute to increase my knowledge of hair loss and scalp disorders. Upon completing my studies as a Certified Trichologist, I quickly applied my specialized education and knowledge of vital nutrients & vitamins that are clinically proven to help promote healthy hair & scalp, hired a CHEMIST to test, approve & finalized my formula and the rest was UP from there. Or should I say "DOWN"?

I'm a serial small business entrepreneur who has successfully owned & operated several businesses for over 24 years. But honey, RESTORE HAIR CARE was the hardest to figure out, to structure and was the most expensive to start. I (we) LOST alot of money trying to figure out how to properly start, operate and grow a hair care line.

Fast forward to October 2021...3 logos, 2 product label designs, 5 bottle changes, 2 website platforms, 2 domain name changes, 1 trademark, 1 chemist, 2 manufacturers, 4 employees, 3 locations (we started in the kitchen), huge product orders of trial ingredients and 14 products later we are still in business and still trying to figure things out.

By the grace of GOD and our customers SUPPORT, we are shipping out product orders weekly, selling products weekly from SALON SEVEN, we have 6 affiliates selling our products at their businesses and 4 private label customers who has started their own business private labeling our product.

And WE ARE ONLY 1 YEAR & 6 MONTHS OLD...BUT GOD!

Our #1 goal is you & the HEALTH OF YOUR HAIR! I'm not sure what God has in his plan for "RESTORE HAIR CARE" but we are definitely here for the journey!
